What is the Fediverse?
Corporate social media locks you inside its walls and harvests your data. The Fediverse is different — a collection of independent social networks that talk to each other, run by individuals and cooperatives instead of corporations. Think of it like email: you pick where you want to be, and your connections come with you if you ever want to move.
